Actually, this may get you more mic inputs, but you are still limited by the normal maximum input count of 18 with LE. The Mbox can act as a 2 channel mic preamp(with the MIX knob turned all the way to DIRECT and cables from the Mbox outputs to a pair of line inputs on the 003). You might have to power the Mbox with a powered USB hub and not attach it to the computer at all(Pro Tools software will only recognize a single Digi interface so you want it to "see" the 003). Since all this gets you is 2 more mic preamps, there are a dozen ways to get that without involving an Mbox.
