vst to rtas not working...help please

protools will not load when i converted a vsti..protools create a log. file

"Assertion in "\code\vobs\AlturaPorts\NewFileLibs\Sys\Win32\Sys_ DLLWin32.cpp", line 1520"

i only load 1 vsti a time --fm7,b4,vb1,...ive tryed others too...same result
when i remove converted vsti protools works fine

its a sad day ...i dont hope that i just spent 99us for nothing

some one know what to do ??

Do a search here, this error was discussed in at least two threads in the past month.

Also, the KvR site has a section fo FXpansion, and there is a dedicated thread for Win OS VST-RTAS wrapper bugs/problems. Angus from FXpansion *attends* that forum very regularly.

Seems the Arturia plug-ins may have bug in them that makes them conflict with our RTAS-wrapped plugins.

i have read that thread...however its not the same problem

i havent instaled any of Arturia plug-ins

my error dosent have any "rewire issue"

my protools runs fine when remowing vsti´s

this happens regardles of what plug i try to use

vsti i have tryed b4 fm7 vb1 ,Atmosphere all plugs ive read shuld work!!

Uller, - on the Danish version of Win XP we have a few problems regarding the folders in which our plugs are installed..

Follow these instructions:
All FXP-files must be moved to this path - including the vstplugins folder:
C:Programmer/Digidesign/DAE/Plug-Ins
After this you need to run the VstRtasCfg and let it create the plugs.
It then creates the Rtas-plugs in this folder:
C:Programmer/Fælles Filer(Shared files)/Digidesign/DAE/Plug-Ins
You must now move the created Rtas-plugs to the first path, ie:
C:Programmer/Digidesign/DAE/Plug-Ins
(If you dont PT will crash on start-up, - that means all files must be in
that folder)

If you have any plugs in Crogrammer/fællesfiler/digidesign/dae/plug-ins or any other place for that matter put them all in C:Programmer/Digidesign/DAE/Plug-Ins

Please let me know if you need further instructions

I heard about this VST wrapper for RTAS - is it good - do you know of any good VSTs that work with it??? I was hoping to get that CloneEnsemble plug to work on RTAS - plus CamelPhat (has a nasty cool distorted sound)...???
