U Can\'t answer this Midi-nightmare "Q"
It appears to be simple enough...I have a digital mixer that controls the faders in ProTools(Digi 001). It is connected to the midi in/outs on the back of the Digi 001 unit. My keyboard is connected to a MOTU Fastlane (USB midi hub). I've configured OMS according to tech support. I can control the faders with the mixer, but I get NO MIDI IN FROM THE KEYBOARD/FASTLANE/USB HUB. Midi track record enabled, aux track getting sound source from keyboard, but no midi.
Under the Midi menu I've enabled all devices (Digital 328, Triton, and Fastlane). Freemidi was installed long ago (everything worked before I added the new mixer, i.e., I can get midi in if I plug the midi in/outs from the Triton directly into the Digi 001 and reconfigure OMS accordingly. As soon as I reconnect to the current set-up and "make current" in OMS-nothing. What am I overlooking? |

Re: U Can\'t answer this Midi-nightmare "Q"
Have you tried the "Test Studio" function in OMS? It will tell you if Midi is getting in and out or not.
