dumb question
I have someone coming over wanting to record his vocals later today. He has a cd with his beats on it, and I'm trying to make sure that I'm ready to record when he gets here. I'm new to this. I took a regualar song from a cd and tried to inport it into protools, but I'm getting an error message saying that it's in the wrong format. Do I need a plugin or something to be able to import the audio?

Use iTunes for Windows.. just set the Import option to WAV.
