As I have mentioned here many times, I use SDII with an AMIII in several G4's EVERYDAY, running os 9.2.2. I use it to make up my playlists for CD burning. I have tried other solutions, including JAM, Waveburner, etc., but like this combo the best. Did you know that you have have the same audio files open in Pro Tools, SDII, and MLCD all at the same time, and switch between programs and that file will play in whatever program you have in the front?

Hi Mike

I've contacted Digi UK and was offered an SDII v2.83 upgrade but this is no use to me as I'm NuBus and need Waves plugs - UNLESS the disk will authorize v2.8. I've emailed them on this but I'm getting no response at all and I need to get authorized again.

According to your User Guide for v2.8, as a registered user I should have received a backup installer, but I've never had one. Digi UK did at least confirm I'm registered OK, and I did get backup installers for 2 versions of MLCD and 2 versions of ProTools.

Can get something moving please?

Thanks

David

I am an old SD II user. Could Peak be used instead I can't think off hand want SDII has that Peak can't do.
