No "show grid lines in edit window" option!!!!??!

I've looked everywhere for the "show grid lines in edit window" check box, but I cannot find it in PT 8.01cs1. Did they just forget to add it? Anyone know where it could be. Its not in prefs->display. its not under options, view, or window. Some guy took it off in HD, then when it took the session home to tune and edit, I cannot enable it again.

At the top of the edit window to the right of the main counter. The area where you enter grid and nudge values. There is a box aground grid. Click it to light it up. That will enable the grid lines.

Oh...I kind of feel like an idiot, but what was wrong with keeping it as a pref?

Is there a short cut for changing the value like quarter notes etc without having click and change it in the grid box does anyone know???

yes there is I use it all the time. .

its something like control+option+Plus (+) or Minus (-) (numeric keypad)

its in the key commands pdf for sure.
