Default Pro Tools 9 Official Lion release

Max/Anybody at Avid,

Like many I am not exactly thrilled at the idea of Pro Tools 9 support already being cut off. Currently, 9.0.5 is only a beta on Lion, is there any chance of getting one last release that will fully make it compatible? I think its the least that could be done especially for native users that have had 9 for a very limited time, at a $300 upgrade cost at that. I don't think I'm being unreasonable as a consumer in any way by requesting this be done. Many of us don't plan on updating to PT10 right away, and that shouldn't exclude us from fully qualified support for our main daw.

Thanks for your time!

Chris

Digidesign/Avid has a long history of releasing fixes, cs updates etc.. for older versions of Pro Tools long after new versions have come out.

On the other hand, PT10 feels like the most thoroughly tested "0.0" release I've ever used. That PT9 runs on Lion at all seems like a bonus.
