Delayed Write Failed FW-HD Error

We are encountering the posted error when using our FW HD with PT8. Before launch, both the Project Mix and FW-HD are connected/mounted and ready to work.

Error Description
Application popup: Windows - Delayed Write Failed : Windows was unable to save all the data for the file [name_of_the_file_you_want_to_save].

Items to note

1. Both the M Audio Project Mix and FW-HD are connected to the 3-port PCI/FW card. Port 1 is the Project Mix and Port 2 is the HD. Could that be the cause? If so, see #2.
2. The HD and Project Mix are both connected with no issue to report when using other applications. Example: Working with Kontakt 3. Kontakt 3 is sounding from the Project mix while the samples are streaming form the FW-HD. (No Kontakt 3 is not in our Digi plugs list.)
3. Could this be something as simple as a bad cable? If so, why does #2 work well?
4. The above error is consistent but random. It can pop up at any given moment.

PCI 3 Port FW card
I cannot seem to locate the manufactures name of said PCI card. Perhaps my Sandra report will help?
