What’s cool & what’s not? - That’s easy.
It’s very cool telling people you got a G4/500 dually.
It’s not very cool paying for a second processor that’s still not yet supported, and then finding out two months later there’s a $500 rebate you’re not eligible for...

The extra money does really worth it and is not for the second processor only, G4/1000 Mhz, lots of ram (256 MB), 40GB HD + DVD-Ram, same price as Quadra 650/33 with 8 MB Ram without even 1 speed CD drive on it five years ago... the funny thing is that after selling one of my 9600s, the money I got for the ram was enough to pay a G4/400 ;^) gonna get giggy with G4 + 15" Display next week and get back to you.
