Lost files and renaming files
Hey All,
I was just in a session comping vox tracks. I renamed the files as I placed them on the new track by double clicking on the audio in the edit window not in the region bin. PT crashed before I did a final save. Would the files be on disc as the renamed files or are they gone forever? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Pete |

Re: Lost files and renaming files
The files should be on the drive as the new name(s)... if you were renaming the files as well as the regions -- double clicking and renaming will only rename both if the region consists of the complete audio file.
Have you searched for them? Rail

Re: Lost files and renaming files
Yes if you know the names of the files just open up your Workspace Browser (command + ; ) and do a search for the file names. If they got lost you should be able to find them that way.
