Renaming Disc Files?
It seems once you’ve edited a region, the option to rename the disc file in the rename window is no longer available. Therefore, if you rename a region something simple like “final vocal”, it will still show up in your audio folder as something like “vocal-3-22-00”. Although you can use the “Show Full Pathnames” setting in the region window to note the actual root file name, this makes file management and importing very difficult. Any suggestions?

Re: Renaming Disc Files?
Solved it! After doing all of your edits to the track. “Consolidate Selection” gives you a new disc file you can rename and then junk the others.
