And how dd you get there? An in-situ upgrade from Maverics? (oops never recommended by Avid for good reason). A clean install of Yosemite? Did you uninstall and reinstall the Editor?

I did an in-situ upgrade from mavericks
I uninstalled and re-installed the editor and installed the newest 11R driver.

If I run the editor without the 11R being turned on it behaves as expected, notifying me that it cannot connect with the box. (The same thing happens if there is no driver for the 11R installed)

When the 11R drivers are installed and the 11R is turned on, any attempt to start the editor aborts without any output.
In the console app I see the following messages:

I did not do a clean install. I can do that, but there is a lot of software on this box.

Have others have installed OS/X Yosemite and can use the editor without issue?

I installed a fresh copy of yosemite and still waiting for an official release from Avid regarding the eleven rack drivers, the standalone editor and pro tools 11 ...sigh...

I'm running Win 7 Home Premium, AMD processor, 8gb ram, 2Tb HD. I uninstalled the Editor and drivers, then, reinstalled Driver then the Editor. Still doing the same thing. What do I need to do next?

You would likely get better help here if you created a new thread for your problem instead of jumping on to this existing (recently at least Mac focused) thread.

Is the Eleven Rack showing up as a device in Windows Device Manager? What exactly is showing up?

Did you reboot the computer after installing drivers. Do not let the computer suspend/sleep while the Eleven Rack is connected.

Try removing all unneeded USB peripherals, try different USB cables and ports or a powered Hub if the computer only has USB 3.

Locatethe Eleven Rack icon on the Windows task bar.

Hover mouse over it.

Right click.

Hold the UP arrow on the keyboard numeric pad.

THEN click Move on the dialogue.

Move mouse (cursor will change to a directional placement tool).

The Eleven Rack editor should now magically appear.

Drag it on to desktop whilst holding down the UP arrow, then drop it.

Choose Window on the editor's menu, select maximise.

That will make it slightly bigger but won't solve the problem.

So: Close the editor down and re-open it and that should solve the problem...

Easy when you know how but still a major pain in the *!*??!!!****

Got it. Hold the "Shift Key", not the "Arrow Key" (at least that's how it works on my AMD Windows 7 PC). I really like being able to use the Editor instead of trying to do everything on the front of the 11R (really nice that I can rename patches on the computer and it shows on the 11R).

If this happens again you may want to try simply trashing the cache.
Here's how.
