digi 002 Blk lion ?

I got a literally brand new Digi 002 that was used for only roughly 28hrs of seminar recording and has been packed away for many years.

The boot sequence and spot on and I don't think any harness issues will be something to happen soon since not being used.

Was considering of getting the Digi 002 modded and would it be a viable option ?

Also would it even run on PT2020 ?

Don't bother. The thing sounds almost the same as old blue 96 interface at 48kHz when you run it at 96kHz.

Thanks for your input Janne. Yeah I'm going to give it to a guitar whiz kid and let him have fun learning PT on it. Although he'll have to grab a license on ebay to use a version.

No problem.

Had 002R in 2002-2006 and know it very well. Good as it is and does not get significantly better with a pricey mod. But for what it is, it is solid good piece of hardware.

Latest drivers here. Then take a look at PT compatibility info and decide which license you need.
