Default PT6.1 removal & reinstallation

I was using PT6.0.1 and upgraded to PT6.1 including the DigiTranslator but decided I didn't want the DigiTranslator so I uninstalled PT6.1. I could not reinstall PT6.1 because it was looking for PT6.0 or PT6.0.1 so I had to reinstall PT6.0. PT6.0 worked (after removing the PT6.1 files from System/Library/CFMSupport) but none of my drives could be authorized as an audio drive. I then reinstalled the PT6.1 upgrade (w/o DigiTranslator) and removed the old Digi files from Library/Application Support and restarted. Now everything seems to work fine. The lesson seems to be that once you upgrade to PT6.1, there's no going back.
