Default what does this error message mean other than I can't use my Pro Tools?

Seems I can no longer use my Pro Tools 11.3. I get the error message below and then cannot open any sessions or create any new ones. Is this forcing me to upgrade yet again?

God I hate AVID...

Could not create a new document because Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/151228/ProTools/DFW/MacBuild/../Views/UMenu.MacOS.mm", line 1549.
