Default Using MIDI tracks & Reason - don\'t have MIDI devic

Hi folks. I want to do some testing with Protools LE 7.0 and Reason Adapted but I don't have a MIDI device yet. Can I pencil in notes on a MIDI track to control a Reason device (e.g ReDrum)? So far, I can play and record Reason drum loops via the Reason Rewire plugin using aux tracks and buses but I can't figure out how to control ReDrum with a MIDI track. Is it possible or do I need a physical MIDI device?

You can simply program a pattern in Redrum and you'll hear it rewired back to pro tools. If you'd rather sequence the drums, as opposed to using a pattern, then you'll need a midi controller.
