Default mac to pc help

Hi,
Didn't know if I should post this here or over in the PC area but here goes.
After 6 years of loving my g4 (os9) 001, I finally decided to do the exchange up to the 002 and bought to PC xp. So here's the problem.
I know I wasn't thinking too clearly, but I took my 50 plus songs sitting on my mac, pushed them over to an external hard drive (without saving them as a pc/mac file), traded in my 001 and sound card, and now I am unable to open my files to change them over to a pc/mac file because the computer is looking for the card and can't find it.
I have called digi and asked if they could be so kind to send me the sound card so I can get into the files but so far they don't want to do this.
My question is to all you computer genius folks. . .is there any other way I can do this?
I would welcome any help. Thank you.
Dave

It's not the digi001 missing that you need, you just need to find another studio with PT on a Mac, open your sessions there and then save them as PC compatible.

Thanks for the quick reply, Slim.

Yeah, the tech guys told me the same thing. Only problem is, I don't know anyone who has one, let alone let me have it for a few hours to do this. My son has a g5 but there is no way to load up a mac version of 7.0 on it.
This is really frustrating.

Are the audio files sd2? I'm not sure if it will work, but you could try creating new PT sessions and "import session data" from the file menu.

Good Luck!

How was the drive formatted which you used for saving the session files? If it was FAT32 you're in trouble, if it was HFS+ then use MacDrive from www.mediafour.com and open the session directly off the HFS+ formatted drive.

Hey guys, thanks for the suggestions.
Zoe, I saved them as aiff so it won't read them.
Rail, I downloaded the trial version and have been messing with the macdrive but so far I haven't been able to convert them. I will keep trying.
I really appreciate the help. It has given me some hope.
