Track Count 001 vs 002...
I seem to recall more people getting better performance with the 001 than the 002, is this still true?

Well...its even improving prety soon. I have the 001 and i am expecting to get a new 3200+ Athlon any day now.....
(but i think you're right. The firewire nature of the 002 or the usb nature of the mbox do use up some cpu.....)
