Re: Kurzweil K2000S and Mac G4
Step 1) Make sure your K2000 is "on"
OK let's get serious: 1) Plug a headphone in your K2k's headphone out. Do you hear a sound? Yes? Go to 3) 2) Don't hear a sound? Go to MIDI on the K2k's panel, select "Control" and make sure it's on "Local". Good. 3) Now plug the MIX outputs of your K2k in your input of the 001. I recomend the 3-4 so you can monitor the K2k bypassing your computer, but I don't know your set-up. 4) On your mixer strip, select "input 3-4" or "5-6" in your case, record enable, play...you should hear something, right? Well, let me know how that goes and ask further questions if needed. |

Hey Luiz. We did the same as Kickin' desribed except we went into the front mic 1 and mic 2 and padded them!! Only problem we encountered was getting the samples back into the Kurzweil
You can hear it here www.mp3.com/PRIMATE-GORILLA... it's "ACID RAIN"

In program mode, with the current sound selected, hit the enter key to enter the program editor. Use the more > buttons to find the output page. Change the output assignment from A to C position the star in the center for signal to go out C L+R equally.
Remember if u plug a cable into the indivual outs, the signal WILL be REMOVED from the mix outs. Targon |

There's no such thing as a C output on the K2000 synth. They have a A(FX) output and a B(DRY) output. The mix output, that I recommended for the tests, produces programs routed through either the A or the B output. |
