what other software, hardware, or recording equipment should i get
I'd like to know what will help me get the best quality recordings with a digi 001.
Recording techniques would also be helpful, i.e.- mic placements, recording vocals, etc...

Re: what other software, hardware, or recording equipment should i get
Start with searching the DUC. Read many of the awesome posts with so much info just within the last 3 months, we've discussed everything from microphones to monitors to mixers. There's also a book at the digi store specifically regarding using digi to record. Many recommend that book. Again, just search and read back posts.
