Default midi machine control (slave) missing from peripheral setup

hello everyone.

to start off, im using pro tools 7.1 on a g5 imac runing lepoard 10.5.1 and an axiom 49 keyboard controller connected via usb.

the problem is im trying to use my transport functions on the axiom, but when i go to check the box in the peripheral setup, its misisng, the only thing listed is the midi machine control, the option for slave isn't there at all. i tried installing the new midi drivers for os x, and i tried re-installing like 10 times. and its still not there.

any help will be appreciated. thank you.
