Anyone Run PT 8 TDM with the Magma PE6R4 Expansion Chassis

Just curious if anyone has had any luck running this PE6R4 Expansion Chassis with PT 8.

Im running PT 7.4.2 in this room right now but really want to go up to PT 8 I was reading that I would only be able to go to PT 8.0.3 that would work for me.

Just wondering what kind of mess I am in for if I try and run this? Any input would be greatly appreciated. what version and system spec etc.

PE6R4 will work with the new intel macs. It's actually the only chassis left that's qualified if I remember right.

Thanks for the info. This studio has a INtel Mac pro 2.66 Dual Core Intel Xeon.

The 7.4.2 System works great but I really want those automation knobs on the Eq's and compressors to all show for each track. That saves me alot of time.

I want to try it with PT 8.0.3. Anyone tried it with 8.0.4 even though its not supported?

The Magma PE64 is supported under PT 8.0 and 8.1. It's the Digi expansion chassis that is no longer supported in 8.04.

THanks for the info,, Yeah the support is kinda the problem. With PT 8.0.4 not supported it makes this system very powerful but not up to date. I was almost hopeing somone has tried it to see if it runs.
