PT 8.1 crashes when attempting to import audio
When trying to import audio from database or anywhere else, PT crashes as soon as I click on .wav file. Creates an EVENT ID 1002 (application hang). Used to work fine and I can't think of any software I've loaded that would cause a conflict here. No idea where to start...

Re: PT 8.1 crashes when attempting to import audio
What about starting by posting your system specs?
(OS version, 32 or 64bit, Processor, RAM, Model of PC/Motherboard, Model of Interface) Trash Prefs, Databases and Volumes folder? Reinstall latest Quicktime Do the audio file play fine in the Workspace browser or through another player? Can you drag the audio file in from the Workspace as a work around? Try moving the .wav file to another location, hard drive or desktop and try importing again?
