Newer 400/200 G3 card in a 9600 with PT tips?

I was holding out for a G4, but the price of Newer 400/200 Mhz accelerators were getting so cheap ($479 from Upgrade Stuff) that I decided to pick one up while the dust settled.

I also heard that Apple will be offering a powerful, dual engine AGP slot dual monitor card from ATI in the future (not like the wimpy ixMicro product), but that production of these cards was set back indefinitely by the Taiwan earthquakes.

So, in the meantime, I'll at least have an inexpensive 400 Mhz G3.

My question is:

For you guys and gals using the Newer 400/200 mhz accelerator, are there any things to watch out for? Any tips?

Which OS seems to work best for a 9600/Newer 400/200 mhz/Bit 3 Expansion chassis system?

Is it OK to run this card at full bore, or are more conservative settings prudent?
