It's hard to word what I'm asking about. But I'm looking for software to be able to adjust the time between tracks and fade the tracks into each other --- as I'm burning it. In otherwords post everything else... I'm sure there is stuff that does this as I've heard of it... but I can't find anything about an actual title for the software you would use to do this. Right now i'm stuck between either having the tracks go directly into each other or using 2 seconds of silence - i want more options for that.
thanx, josh

Yeah go for WaveLab! Wavelab 4 is great but the older 3.0 versions will work too!

Sound Forge. enough said. then use a burning program to adjust time between tracks, and if you need a seamless change between a few tracks, you need to set markers in a burning program. i use Sound Forge for mastering, Nero for burning.

The keyword you are looking for is "Red Book" that is a standard that includes marking track I.D.'s without having separate tracks/gaps between sections.
