192 isn’t being seen.
G5 2.5 GHz, Pro Tools 8 doesn’t see the 192 I/O.
I hear a click come from the interface and get the message that the I/O can’t be seen. This is when DAE is loading. Anyone know what could possibly be wrong? |

Re: 192 isn’t being seen.
Dirty or broken digilink cable. Run digitest and see if it says everything is okay with your card(s).

Re: 192 isn’t being seen.
See if the 192 is showing in Mac Sound and in Audio Midi Set Up
Or Try holding down the N key while launching PT and see if the 192 shows as a selection ...

Re: 192 isn’t being seen.
Yes the Digidesign hardware shows up in Audio MIDI Setup.
And when I hold “N” down on startup I get a screen where I can adjust the number of voices and sample rate. When I select a sample rate the interface changes accordingly. Not sure where to go from here. My cards pass DigiTest HD Core HD Accel HD Process |

Re: 192 isn’t being seen.
Buy a used 192 and keep the old one for parts?

Re: 192 isn’t being seen.
Ok, I got somewhere.
I removed the Process and Accel cards and pro tools booted up! So I guess I have a bad card that DigiTest isn’t finding. Weird! |

Re: 192 isn’t being seen.
Alright, this is what I got:
Core card by itself, session loads, interface is detected, output from i/o is working. Adding ANY card to the core, using a different flex cable each time, the error occurs. So could this be a buggered core card? |

Re: 192 isn’t being seen.
Ok, it keeps getting weirder!
So now if I put in the core and the Accel cards in, and plug the interface into the Accel card, Pro Tools loads! |
