My USB 2.0 RME Fireface UCX II gets just under 4ms RTL at 64 samples & 48kHz. 7ms at 128 samples. Not sure where you're getting your information, but it's incorrect.

USB protocol. But as Darryl proved, RME has found a way past it.

I'm curious how the Digi 003 is able to achieve 32 buffer at 48k recording 18 tracks with some effects.
