For a whole year? Wow.

If you don't want to hear what other problems folks have then how would you have any hope of making an informed decision? And many folks have posted about those problem here in the past.

And yes in principle it's great. This was a second attempt after the first failure of a management product was killed off. My problems with Link started on the day it was released with how it was leaking user's confidential email addresses and how I had to get Avid to scramble that night to fix that. Kinda obvious stuff they had missed. And then I started started looking at the mess of how this was build, what versions of those components were used and the huge attack surface which alone was concerning from a security viewpoint. And that's just the start, multiple other problems with it failing and it's an automatic uninstall. It's not just this add on product, Pro Tools collaboration software is a worse mess and largely does not work. Pro Tools has enough issues as is, hopefully Avid can keep the folks who implemented these other poorly done bloatware products away from the core product. Give them some blocks to play with or something.

My 2 cents, considering it works SOME of the time, but not all of the time makes it less than trustworthy. Then, its yet another thing running in the background that doesn't aid my workflow in any way. To each their own

Yes, a year. What of it? That's how long I have used it. Maybe it sucked 2 years ago, and it's better now? I don't know.

But if you don't want to hear about successes, then how can you make an informed decision either. It works both ways.

Most people only come to forum to bitch when something doesn't work...maybe 1000's of people use it without issue and don't feel compelled to come here and say so. I don't know. It has worked "all" the time for me, so I am still waiting to experience an issue

My point is that there are two sides to every story, but here only the naysayers seems to have a voice.
