Default pro tools

Hi my mate just leant me his pro tools cd. but do i need some hardware for it to work or is their a way round it? I have an audigy sound card so i have inputs

Pro Tools software will not run without Digidesign Pro Tools hardware.
"Lending" software is a crime.
Purchase Digidesign Pro Tools hardware and it will come with a legal copy of the software.

Just a real world example of why Digidesign makes their software dependant on hardware.
Unless your friend lends you the hardware, you're SOL.

The all-knowing, all-seeing Digi must be pleased.

Someone wanted me to lend him my wife for a million bucks...

Does he really think I'm going to give him this really good piece of hardware to be used with his little software..... uhmmm I might....

but what about if he's upgraded.. and has many plug ins???

ahhh.. maybe not...

well...there goes the HDD 3 ..!!!
