HEEELP... Mbox 2 looping sounds and crashing Snow Leopard!
I am having the following constant issue on my 2.66 GHz iMac Core 2 Duo with 2 GB of RAM, running Snow Leopard 10.6.3, MBox Mini and PT 8.0.3: suddenly, when required to play a sound, the system starts to loop a small part of it and it goes on and on... In some occasions, the only way to stop it is unplugging MBox and plugging it back. But it will lead the system to a major crash when required to shut down. The screen of death will appear telling "You have to restart your computer".
I tried reinstalling and all the rest, but nothing. Can it happen because MBox is not directly plugged to the computer but to a powered USB hub instead? The card sounds great but seems too crashy and system-unfriendly. Can anyone help me? |
