Default Adding Audio To Video

Trying to help a friend put together a simple PT rig to record his guitar along side some programmed drums or Band In The Box tracks. Standard PT is in his budget, Ultimate is not.

He wants to record his guitar with the drums, etc. while being video recorded, most likely with an iPhone camera because he knows how to work with that.

When we are finished with the music, what is a good low cost program to embed the music into the video track suitable for posting on the internet somewhere, such as YouTube, website, etc. We will sync audio to video with a slate or handclap or something that is both audible and visual.

I assume this cannot be done it PT. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Import the iPhone Quicktime into Pro Tools
Sync with said handclap
Bounce to Quicktime from Pro Tools.
Make sure you set the session frame rate to the same as the Quicktime.

You will have your video.

PT is on a Windows machine. Not sure if QT works in Windows, but I will check. Any ideas on another video editor that will work on Windows
