D-Command Talkback Noise. Please help!
Hi Guys,
I read some ppl having issues with noisy Icon talkbacks, but this is ridiculous!! My talkback (both internal & external) are unusable!! I'm not very picky with noise, really. I mean, it's a bloody talkback, who cares. But it seems like the preamp must be broken. I mean, it works, but it's almost imposible to listen clearly. My solution so far has been to use the TB out (noise, basically) as a trigger for a gate that's inserted in a track where I have an external microphone. This way I can at least use the TB button. But it's a pain to have 2 inputs occupied with this, and one stupid microphone on top of the console. Are there any reports of such issues? What do you guys think? Thanks and sorry to be a bit hard. I didn't expect this. Thanks, J. |
