How to access PT 10 free trial?

i've downloaded the free trial and the license is successfully on my ilok supposedly......but how do i open the actual program from here?

there is no icon on my desktop or anything. i assume since it is on my ilok that i must access it from there, but how do i do that?

You download the Trial to your Mac. :) Only the license is on your iLok.

i see....well when i go to my downloads folder and click on "setup", it says "windows cannot complete the extraction"

so i was in the midst of installing and this very vague message came up.


"The operating system is not adequate for running pro tools"

Well...sorry thought you were Mac, not that you need to be.
I just eventually gave up with PCs and Pro Tools but there's plenty around here that have big success with the two.

What version of windows are you running? Windows XP and Vista are not supported, and I think that might be the error you get. (but I could be wrong)
