Default 11.2.1 My Findings, -9173 error with BTD

ADC is fixed!!! No more Auto Report bypass workaround and no more bounce latency inside my files.

Can not get through a Real Time bounce though. This has been reported since 11.2… I was using RT bounce daily in 11.1.3 just fine. But now it's causing CPU errors.

Various plugins placed after NI Massive still causing crippling cpu spikes. I'm HD Native PCIe

My WA. Put Massive processing on an aux, route there. Painless enough for now. Who knows what other combinations are slowing things down.

Multi-Out VI session data import still not working right.
Move song start with tempo changes still not keeping everything intact.

Correct about the BTD real time error not having been fixed yet.

Same here with BTD realtime error. AAE-9173! I took out every plug - not just 3rd party ones but ALL of them and was still getting 9173 with NO plugins added. But for my first real issue in ProTools in the 5 years I have been using it, no complaints here. I have a good 11.1.3 and the ADC issue is an easy workaround. I can be patient for 11.2.2.

Have any of you tried the 'put dither before sansamp' thing that fixes the denormalization issue which this might be?

I haven't seen any issue with bounce (11.2.1).

Wait a minute... You've not been able to bounce to disk successfully under any circumstances when using 11.2.1?

Not extensively tested (Just used current Project) but realtime and offline stereo and upmix 5.1 fine here.

8 VI's still live. (IK-ST3 and NI K5)

I do have a repeatable crash with Massey 2007 only if text entered output. No crash using knob to lower output.

It may take several tries and then I can bounce. By the 2nd or 3rd attempt, the audio goes way out of sync. I go into playback settings and change the Disk Playback cache from normal to 8G and all is good. Then the next time I change it back from 8 to normal.

Just tried this today on an HDX2 system. This really works! I've been using 2-3 instances of SansAmp (PSA-1 DSP) and had random native processor overloads happening. Putting a DSP Dither in the slot before each of my DSP PSA-1 instances appears to have quieted the CPU Overload issue down. AMAZING!

Great Find, thank you for passing this on!
