New version of EuControl & MC_Client

Macupdater tells me that there is a new version of EuControl and MC_Client, even though they don't show on the Avid site. Maybe something new is on its way..........................

It also tells you there is a truckload of updates for the Avid plugins. Finally bringing at least version numbers up to this decade...

They are all called 22.2 something, so it should be coming soon, whatever it is...

That just means there's beta tests in the wild. MacUpdater doesn't seem to be able to differentiate.

No sign of the main PT update though, only the EuCon, MC_Client and now plugins. I'm not clear how Macupdater gets it's information.

It is likely the beta app is named differently than the prod version, that'd be why it is not being matched to those of us who have the current version. Eucon release is scheduled for 22.4 as per Eddie Jones on the FB group. Eucon releases rarely coincide with Pro Tools releases by a month or two. So I'd bet there should be a Pro Tools release on the way for late Feb or Early March,

Interesting - the EuCon version which Macupdater is seeing is 2022.2.0.22.

But if the release is scheduled for April, then it’s just an interim version in beta.
