Default Can buffer size affect your recording?

I noticed a delay while recording in the highest buffer size (1000 something) Does it affect my recording?

When recording, try using a smaller buffer size like 256 or 512.
When you're ready to mix and use RTAS plugs, you'll want to go to 1024.

Does not affect what is recorded just what you are hearing (monitoring).

Use Low Latency Monitoring and you won;t hear the delay at all.
