Default Sync HD/Sync X GPIO uses

Hey all,

Just curious if anyone has used the GPIO ports on a Sync HD to interface with something like an RTW TM9 loudness meter? It seems like the TM9 might be able to start and stop loudness metering based on the Pro Tools transport?

Would anyone have any insights into how this might be wired? From what I can make out in the manuals, the Sync HD GPI have 4 outputs that each provide 12v to control an external relay? The TM9 has 6 programmable
GPI inputs that active when grounded through the relay.
