Default What's everyone using to send sessions?

Hey everyone. Just curious as to what others are using to send their sessions via the internet from one to another.

For a while I was using iDisk however we all know that's coming to a close. Dropbox is what I'm currently experimenting with now. However I'm interested to hear what you guys are using.

Also has anyone tried FTP to send sessions? Only reason I bring it up is because iDisk has terribly slow upload times and Dropbox seems to be slow with downloading.

Dropbox is a PITA.

Just use a server and FTP client. Easy and as fast as you connection.

I have a Doc I send to clients that explains exactly how to do it.

Mediafire.com is great for small sessions. Dropbox is great. All you have to do is put the file in your public folder and email the public link. Don't have to deal with sharing entire folders that way. Mad simple. Sendspace.com used to be great and was the fastest upload and download site I've ever used, but recently there site tries to download spam to your computer when you click the file download button. So I abandoned them. Megaupload was great, but required time waited to download files which I hate. Other than that, my website domain provider gives members unlimited file storage. I pay $20 per month and I get a full website plus free unlimited online file storage.

I'm using this

files up to 2GB
Free
and they have an App so you can upload straight from it.
you also get notifications when the files have been downloaded

Wetransfer.com is another good free one. Upload and download times are kinda slow though.

have a look at gobbler.com
it is great and fast for backup and sending sessions. you can send very fast to other gobbler user or you can send a download link to clients which don't need to have gobbler.

btw it is a great community and a great team behind gobbler.

so just try it by yourself

Well I use yousendit.com
I have 50Mb/s upload on my connection at the studio and it totally keeps up with that.
They also have a handy little app for mac and windows that you can just drag and drop into.

i do ftp every day dragging 22 minute quicktimes to and from my clients. i use filezilla on my imac, and while it isn't the most intuitive thing ever made, it works flawlessly with large files .....cannot complain....
