Default replacing my 001 w/M-Box?

Hi all

I'm doing my research now to see if I may want
to sell my 001 and replace it with M-Box.

Anyone else considering this? Looking for your
opinions/advice -

M-Box only has two inputs, correct? Is there a
way to get more inputs?

That's the only negative I can see since I'd be giving up 6 inputs by switching from the 001. I don't own a laptop yet so I was considering using
the money from the 001 towards one.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

P

I should add that the reason the M-Box looks so
attractive is because I could record drum tracks
anywhere since it's portable (at bands' practice spaces, etc) . But it looks like
all I'd be able to use is two mics unless I
do a mixdown on the way in using a mixer, which
would defeat the whole idea of being portable
(hauling a mixer around too)

I'm babbling. I'll shut up now.

thanks,

P
