Default Disassociating Duplicate Clips

Still fairly new to Pro Tools, so I am not even sure I am asking this correctly..

But let's say I create 4 duplicate clips on a track and want to name them differently. How do I do that? When I change the name, it changes all 4.

I understand why it's doing that. But I'm also assuming there is a way to disassociate them from each other so you can give them all different names and what not.

Is there?

Thanks!

Consolidate each copy, maybe by using audiosuite eq3 1-band , create individual files (keeps the clip name)
or
select all copies , start+shift+up arrow , while still holding start+shift , down arrow : now the neutrally clip-gained clips are individual clips

If these are MIDI clips, don't forget to turn off Mirrored MIDI Editing.

Thanks guys. I'll try these suggestions when I get home.

And yeah, they are Midi Clips. What happened was, I drug over midi clips from Toontracks EZ Keys onto my instrument track in PT10. The next day when I opened it back up, all the Midi tracks I had set up on the EZ Keys plug-in were gone. So I just tried to copy and paste what I had set up on my instrument track, and when I went to rename a few clips, well, oops... lol!!
