ATA 100 drive for audio on the system buss?
Any one out there know much about how best to connect my audio drive in my G4? It comes with a system drive (60 Gb ATA 66) on buss ATA 2, and theres a free slot to plug in there for additionaly drives. ATA 0 is the super drive...should I be searching for a cable to connect to buss ATA 1, hoping that my ATA 100 drive will get faster performance on that buss or does it not matter if its on the same buss as the system drive?

Go ahead and put it on the same bus as the system drive. It works fine.

Thanks for that - just trying to eliminate probs to track down a pesky DAE error.
