Default ANYONE FOR THE TASCAM US-2400???

ANYONE HAVE THE TASCAM US-2400??? I WANT TO GET IT FOR MY PT 6.7 SETUP (MBOX). I'D LIKE TO HAVE ALOT OF FADERS FOR THE MONEY. IT SAYS THEY HAVE MACKIE PROTOCOLS. BUT PT IS SO FINICKY. IS IT REALLY COMPATO???

Yes it is and it works flawlessly. I am thinking of selling mine due to experimenting with mixing out of the box. I purchased it in september of 04 and might sell it to buy an analog board if the price is right. Make me an offer and maybe I might sell it, I wish I can keep it but dont have the room for two consoles.

i am also thinking about buying the tascam us-2400 ,i hvae the 6.7 le systhem with the 8 channel mixer that came with it .but i having been having lots of trouble keeping it from shuting down during a session.,i need to buy something esle ,and the tascam cam seems great for the price..
what about adimaition ,does it still work the same way with it? sorry about my spelling!!

If you meant automation it works great. I love this controller, I just want to experiment with outboard gear.

If it is shutting down, you have a problem that needs to be fixed before you add anything else(sounds like a power harness or a bad firewire cable to me). Using the Tascam mixer will NOT allow you to run protools without your DIGI interface. You must have a piece of DIGI hardware attached and working(whether its Mbox, 002 or 002R) or the software simply will not open.
