PT 7.4.2, and 'GUID vs. APM'
Dear DUC folks,
I searched but could not find this exact question, so I am posting here. I am running 7.4.2 on an Intel iMac (3GHz from 2008) which is on 10.5.7, and I am having some trouble with Time Machine; I am wondering if it's due to the APM (Apple Partition) formatting of my ProTools external data drive. I would like to switch to a GUID-formatted external drive. I have heard that GUID works well with Intel Macs, BUT is that true even given the versions of OSX and ProTOols that I am running? I would be grateful for an answer. Thanks!! - VOgger |
