Help w/ Digi Control Panel
I recently reinstalled PT 5.1.1 on my Mac G4 (9.2.2). When I access the "digi" Control Panel in the Mac's "Control Panel" menu, the control panel window comes up but when I click on "setup hardware" nothing happens. I've reinstalled just the "digi control panel" 2x now. Anyone else with this problem?

Re: Help w/ Digi Control Panel
Hi,
What hardware of ours do you have installed? Does Digidesing show up as an option in your Sound Control Panel? *What to do when the Sound or Output drivers do not appear in the Monitors and Sound Control Panel: The Sound CDev is required to select the Digidesign hardware for sound input/output. Mac OS 7.6.1 and higher doesn't automatically install the Sound CDev in the System Folder, but instead places it in the "Apple Extras/Sound Control Panel folder". To install, drag it onto the System Folder and Restart the computer. This information is from the downlaod area here: http://www.digidesign.com/download/sndrvr/ You may aslo want to try donloading a frsh copy of the control panel. Thanks, Digidesign Tech Support |
