Default Moon: Question about your system

Hi moon, hope you remember me. I read somewhere you got the new 192. How does it compare to 888 and your PSX? Did you do any A/B listening tests?

thanks!

peace, syra

Hi Syra,

I work one 2 systems, one is still a MIX, which is my own and will be upgraded to a PT HD as soon Waves is available.

The HD is partly owned by me, 50% to be precise, and is used for recording and editing. This used to be a Mix+ with an 888|24 and a PSX.

We got a PSX at the time because it sounded better than the 888|24.
Now the 192, to my ears and I don't want to upset the Apogee crowd, sounds better than the PSX. So the PSX is going.

The 192 sounds better than I could have hoped for and I can't wait for all the plug-ins to be compatible so we can move the other set to HD as well.
