Yeah, a little strange for sure. I’m waiting for the next protools update. If it doesn’t make this go away I don’t think I’ll stay with Carbon either….pretty disappointing.

Hello. Can you let us know if there’s been any progress on this issue? It was reported at least half a year ago now…enough time to fix something so serious Don’t you agree?

If it’s that much trouble for avid engineers to track down and fix I’d like to know. Then I can decide on another route take. Sorry but it’s taking too long in my opinion.

It is scoped and actively being worked on by developers. Delay Compensation issues are complex and it does not look like this one will make the next release. It is marked as a critical issue and is planned for the following release. Please understand it may slip from the expected fix version if we encounter other issues.

However, during our examination of the issue, we believe a viable workaround may be to set AFL/PLF Paths and Audition Path to None.

I know it's not the info you wanted to hear, but I don't want to give you a song and dance either.

Anyone know if the new update fixes any sync issues? I can’t check it for a few days. I hope so, there have been many updates since this was reported and acknowledged by Avid.

having what seem to be the same adc issues here too.

also experiencing weird issues where putting a track into DSP causes the left side of some of my auxes to go mute (very weird). making the track inactive then active again, then toggling DSP mode solves it every time. extremely annoying while tracking.

anyone else have issues like this?

I think i have same issue:

If I record a DSP track set to outputs 1&2 and the rest of the tracks set to a master bus, all is in sync. On playback If the change the tracks output from 1&2 to the same master bus as the other track the newly recoded track is out of sync. If i assign the track to any other bus (bus 3&4) its back in sync.

Thoughts ?
