192 Stock I/O cards used as expansion cards?
Is it possible to use a stock digital I/O board (the one that comes with the 192 I/O) from one interface and use it in the expansion slot of another one?
I have two 192 I/O's but need 16 channels of AES in one interface for an on location project, and space is at a premium. Since I already own two I/O's I'd rather not buy an expansion card for this one project. |

Hey Barthalamu,
I'm not sure what Digi's take on it would be, be we have definately used the on board cards from bad 192's, as expansion cards in working 192's. Just make sure you leave your "on board" digital card in its original spot. peace, big fella |
