\"Compact selected\" screws up timing \'til reopen?
PT 6.7 cs4, Mac OS X 10.3.7, G4 MDD I gHz, I gig ram, PT HD 3
If I trim up my tracks at the heads and tails and then "clear unused" and then "compact selected", the timing of the session goes completely to h*ll. If I close the session and immediately reopen it, all is well. Is this a new feature in 6.7? PT 5.3.1 would be fine after the save after "Compact Selected" was complete. Anyone else getting this... or has it been a known thing for a while and I'm just not reading enough?? |

Wacky? I can't say if you're wacky or not untiil we've met.
I'm curious if you could describe what "screws up timing" means. Are the front boundaries of regions moved to different timeline locations? the end boundaries? Do all playlists suffer or only some? Are you in Shuffle mode? Samples? Ticks? Are you using overlapping regions? Let me know some more detail please. thanks, -tv
