6.0 and Macos X
I am currently running le 5.1 on my G4 400 660Mb ram very smoothly, no problems. However, I'm looking at adding to it, perhaps a soft synth or sampler or virtual instruments like samplecell or something. I have le on Macos 9 at present, but i do have Macos X on my drive too. Is it worth upgrading to protools 6 for macos X? What are the benfits? Is anybody using it now who's been in a similar postion? All advices welcome. Thanks.

Re: 6.0 and Macos X
GMC, you sound like a nice person, and based upon your question it appears that you're new to this forum. The quick answer to your question is that LOTS of us have been in your shoes.
The fastest way to get your answer is to Search the DUC. I would recommend you try this before starting a new topic. Otherwise, you'll probably get ignored. Take this as friendly advice, and enjoy the community.
