Plugin presets missing after update to Big Sur
Got a weird problem, after updating from Mojave to Big Sur (which I regret but that is another story) none of my plugins will load the factory presets. This goes for all plugins across the board, Avid, Plugin Alliance, Slate, UAD++.
Have made sure "save plugin settings to" is set to Root Settings Folder. Have also verified that all the preset files are in fact still located in the "documents/Pro Tools/plugin settings" folder. Have tried to trash prefs, no change. All plugins are up to date. Anyone had this happen? Any input is welcome. 2017 imac, Big Sur 11.6.5, PT 2021.12.0. |

Re: Plugin presets missing after update to Big Sur
Just a guess but it's probably a security issue.
Check System Preferences> Security and Privacy, in the Privacy tab check that Pro Tools has access to Files and Folders. Again, just guessing.
